Job Title
Administrative Assistant
ResponsibilitiesAnswers telephones, takes messages and responds to emails. Communicates and follows up with employees, districts and parents. Contacts District/County/State personnel to resolve issues as directed. Communicates with vendors as required and assigned. Types memos, letters, and emails. Processes incoming and outgoing mail. Processes requisitions. Performs data entry. Assists the Director with special projects. Establishes and maintains records and file systems. Supports and collaborates with all programs within the Division.
Acts as a liaison with other Divisions, Programs, Schools, etc. Keeps accurate attendance records of employees. Other responsibilities as needed/required.
High School Diploma. Demonstrated successful secretarial experience, school district setting preferred. Ability to work independently and efficiently in a high volume, fast paced environment. Excellent customer service and organizational skills. Detail oriented and ability to multi-task. Demonstrated computer and typing proficiency. Fluent knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Suite and other digital platforms. Excellent communication skills. Ability to use data based systems.
Required criminal history background check. Proof of recent TB test Preferred:
Three years' experience. Secretarial training or certificate. Associate or College Degree. Bilingual
Annual Salary - $35,500 - $41,500
Term of Contract12 Month Position
