Position Overview:

We are seeking a Client Service Specialist to support the end-to-end client experience with a focus on onboarding, deposit account opening, account servicing, and operational coordination in a banking environment. This position supports Relationship Managers within the Commercial Middle Office by serving as a primary point of contact for client service needs. The Client Service Specialist handles incoming requests, conducts research, resolves issues, and ensures timely and accurate responses for both internal partners and external clients.

The role operates in a fast-paced environment and requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality client service.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned banking clients
  • Manage the client relationship
  • Open banking accounts and handle account maintenance and transactions
  • Collect required client documentation
  • Respond to client requests and resolve account-related issues
  • Meet with clients face-to-face or via phone if needed
  • Must have an understanding of treasury services and banking tools to know what documentation is required and to support client setup and ongoing needs
Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong familiarity with banking products, operational processes, and internal service procedures.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email platforms, and core banking systems; experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously while prioritizing workloads effectively.
  • Knowledge of commercial and corporate account structures.
  • Understanding of treasury services, online banking platforms, and related operational tools.
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in a banking environment.
Preferred Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree and previous experience working with a variety of commercial or corporate clients, including industries such as healthcare, real estate, government, and commercial enterprises.
