Interim CFO

Job Title:

Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Business Services
Duration: Approximately 3 Months
Location: Primarily Remote with occasional travel to Charlotte, NC
Schedule: Flexible; approximately 3–4 days per week (potential for full-time)

Our client is seeking an experienced Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide leadership during a transition as the current CFO exits the organization. This short-term engagement requires a seasoned finance executive with strong experience in the business services industry who can quickly step in and provide strategic financial oversight.

• Provide executive-level financial leadership during the CFO transition
• Oversee and improve cash management and cash conversion cycle
• Lead accounts receivable strategy and performance to optimize cash flow
• Identify and implement cost control initiatives
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Partner with leadership to ensure financial stability and operational efficiency

• Prior CFO or senior finance leadership experience
• Business services industry experience is required
• Deep understanding of cash flow management, cash conversion cycles, and A/R operations
• Experience driving cost management and budgeting processes
• Ability to quickly assess financial operations and implement improvements in a fast-paced environment
