Core Responsibilities- Represent the Credit Union to members in a courteous and professional manner and provide prompt, efficient, and accurate service in processing transactions.
- Provide telephone-based general and specific service-related information concerning Credit Union products, services, or policies.
- Respond to members’ requests, problems, and complaints, or direct them to the proper person for specific information and assistance.
- Cross-sell and/or promote PSFCU products and services to current and prospective members.
- Assist members in balancing their accounts.
- Research account discrepancies.
- Provide member service for online banking setup.
- Process stop payment requests for share drafts and revoke authorization for ACH debits.
- Accept member requests for draft copies, statement copies, account history, and tax forms.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the Credit Union’s products and services to ensure effective cross‑selling.
- Provide member services to ATM, VISA, and debit card holders.
- Open, create, and close ATM and debit card accounts.
- Facilitate Visa card, debit card, and ATM card activation.
- Process payments for Visa credit cards and loans.
- Order and reorder checkbooks from Harland Clarke.
- Open new memberships and share draft accounts over the phone.
- Provide information regarding consumer loans, real estate loans, business loans, and VISA cards.
- Accept credit card and vehicle loan applications.
- Perform name and address verification for merchants with respect to Visa and debit cards.
- Provide service and information resources for co‑workers.
- Effectively promote Credit Union products and services through established sales and service techniques.
- Temporarily increase credit limits on credit cards up to the maximum amount specified for this position.
- Perform any other duties or responsibilities as required or assigned.
- High school diploma.
- 1–3 years of experience in a financial institution.
- At least 1 year of experience in a call center or as a customer service representative.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of computer software programs.
- Ability to cross‑sell products.
- Fluency in spoken and written Polish.
- Preferred: zero to one year of work experience in a financial institution, but not required.
Pay: $20.00 – $22.26 per hour.
