Technical Finance Manager Finance Manager Fairfield , New Jersey Direct Hire Oct 2, 2026
Soni is partnering with a rapidly growing organization seeking a Technical Finance Manager to help build and scale its U.S. finance infrastructure.
This is a highly visible, hands‑on role spanning technical accounting, financial systems, internal controls, reporting, M&A integration, audit, and finance transformation. The position will work across Finance, IT, Operations, and leadership to strengthen processes, improve systems, and create scalable infrastructure to support continued growth.
Responsibilities:- Strengthen accounting processes, controls, and finance infrastructure
- Support technical accounting, financial reporting, and consolidation
- Lead and support ERP, reporting, and finance systems initiatives
- Improve finance data, master data, and automation
- Standardize and streamline processes across multiple business units
- Support external audit and internal control initiatives
- Participate in M&A, including acquisition accounting and post‑close integration
- Support finance integration of newly acquired businesses
- Partner on treasury, cash management, intercompany, and other finance initiatives
- Work closely with Finance, IT, Operations, auditors, and senior leadership
- Identify opportunities to automate and improve finance processes
- 5+ years of progressive accounting, finance, audit, controlling, or technical finance experience
- Strong ERP / financial systems experience
- Understanding of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, accounting processes, and internal controls
- Experience with finance transformation, systems implementation, or process improvement
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to move comfortably between detailed technical work and broader business initiatives
- Strong communication and cross‑functional partnership skills
- Hands‑on, high‑ownership mentality
Skills:
- CPA and/or public accounting background
- M&A / acquisition integration experience
- International corporate experience
- Project‑based, construction, engineering, or field‑service industry exposure
- Experience with finance automation and reporting tools
$145,000 - $175,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job‑related qualifications.
