Web Developer

This role is not remote. And it’s not a theme-tweaking Word Press job either.

Our client is hiring a Web Developer to work 5 days a week, in-office in Fairfield, New Jersey
.

This role is for someone who actually builds Word Press sites —
from scratch — and is comfortable working directly in PHP
, not just dragging blocks around.

If you like owning a site end-to-end and partnering closely with marketing on performance, this one matters.

• 2+ years of professional experience as a Word Press Developer
• Strong proficiency in PHP
• Proven experience building Word Press sites from the ground up (custom themes, custom functionality)
• Hands-on experience with Elementor preferred
• Working knowledge of React, Angular, or Blazor
• Comfort using analytics and data to inform development decisions

• Experience with REST APIs and integrations
• Familiarity with SQL databases
• Understanding of SEO best practices
• Experience supporting UX testing, CRO, or experimentation
