Role OverviewSupply Chain Manager is responsible for managing Supply Chain activities across three locations:
Fairfield N.J. (finished goods distribution), Richmond VA (manufacturing plant), and Newark, DE (R&I). The manager will lead a five‑person team, be based full time in Fairfield with regular travel to Richmond.
- Supervise and approve Supply Chain Analyst and Material Manager MRPs ensuring efficient sourcing to meet customer orders and manufacturing needs.
- Manage inventory in ERP, maintain product information, shelflife management, destruction campaigns, and financial provision.
- Lead S&OP meetings for all business markets and represent supply across Seppic Inc. locations.
- Supervise Master Production Schedule optimization.
- Achieve Group Inventory objectives and analyze forecasting, demand planning, and sales order data to identify inventory gaps and risks.
- Proactively recommend actions based on lead time, demand variability, and service level targets.
- Align finished goods inventory and forecasts with Sales; integrate new distribution partners and update price lists.
- Coordinate raw material supply strategy with Material and Production Managers.
- Adhere to Seppic Group procurement strategy and procedures, including supplier qualification.
- Oversee non‑local procurement, audit support, and manage the procurement-to-pay process with Finance AP.
- Coordinate standard costs with Finance and lead supplier claim management.
- Oversee all logistics operations and manage relationships with customs brokers and transportation providers.
- Validate broker contracts and review service performance.
- Track logistics imports, including air and ocean transportation of finished products and raw materials.
- Support customs, insurance, contract, and audit topics.

- Provide accurate supply tools and data to Customer Service, Sales, Regulatory, Plant Management, and Finance.
- Manage damaged product claims and picking issues.
- Supervise meetings (Good Deal, Not Reserved, S&OP) to identify actions.
- Prepare data‑driven reports on supply chain operations, logistics performance, and inventory KPIs.
- Assist with new technology implementation and lead cross‑functional projects.
- Identify and implement process efficiencies and maintain SOPs.
- Align processes and objectives with Seppic Group Supply Chain.
- Ensure team meets yearly Supply Chain, Inventory, and Logistics KPIs.
- Accountable for team performance and resource management.

Richmond – 1 Material Manager + 1 Procurement Specialist;
Fairfield – 1 Supply Chain Team Lead + 2 Supply Chain Specialists.
- Solid knowledge of best practices in supply chain and procurement.
- Good distribution practices (EFfCI and FDA).
- Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and principles.
- Proven organization, communication, and interpersonal skills with multi‑site and international teams.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Detail‑oriented with quantitative analysis, forecasting tools, and KPI creation.
- Knowledge of Microsoft AX Dynamics a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field.
- 5+ years supply chain experience.
- 2+ years sourcing & planning (domestic and international).
- 2+ years import & export.
- 2+ years manufacturing; chemical manufacturing experience beneficial.
- 2+ years management experience.
- Proficient with planning tools and software programs such as Google and Microsoft.
