General Statement of DutiesAn individual who under moderate supervision applies standard procedures to perform a variety of component assembly tasks, ensuring products meet our high standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- An Assembler is an individual who under moderate supervision applies standard procedures to perform a variety of component assembly tasks, ensuring products meet our high standards
- Assembles components in accordance with drawings and operation sheets.
- Responsible for weighing, loading and pressing operations.
- Handle tooling and fixtures / use various hand tools to produce or modify parts.
- Maintains count and order progress and logs in time / quantities.
- Closes and assembles units (use of crimping and closure tools and epoxy applications).
- Soldering tasks, i.e. small wire soldering, terminal soldering, bridge wire welding.
- Assists with the packaging of pyrotechnic assemblies where required.
- Follows required company safety practices and quality procedures.
- Follows procedures as defined by CAD policies, procedures and ISO
9001 requirements. Maintains confidentiality of all information processed. - Perform other related duties as assigned.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stretch, bend, kneel and stoop. The employee is regularly required to walk, communicate, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds using appropriate moving devices.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to solder, fluxes, cleaners, epoxies, and masking agents while using appropriate personal protective equipment. Works in a temperature controlled environment. The noise level in the environment is usually low to moderate.

Salary: $18 - $21 per hour
