Schedule:
Full-time; overtime available. All Shifts Available Why This Role Hands-on work with industry-leading converting equipment.
Assigned helper support—large production lines are not run solo.
Structured training for candidates who are reliable, mechanically curious, and detail-focused.
What You’ll Operate Laminators Sheeters Slitters Related production and finishing equipment
Core Responsibilities Safely start, run, monitor, and shut down equipment following work orders and SOPs.Watch machine controls and performance; make basic, approved adjustments as needed.
Coordinate with your helper to stage materials and keep production moving.
Inspect materials and finished goods for visible defects; verify outputs meet job specs.
Document production counts, material usage, downtime, and related information.
Identify unusual noises, movements, or conditions; stop equipment and notify supervision/maintenance promptly.
Complete routine cleaning and operator-level care between or during runs.
Keep your area clean and organized; follow all PPE, machine guarding, and safety policies.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, quality, maintenance, helpers, and fellow operators.
Work overtime to support production needs when available.
Must-Have Qualifications Comfort around large industrial machinery.
Ability to read, interpret, and follow written and verbal instructions.
Attention to safety, quality, and detail.
Dependable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to stay focused while monitoring running equipment.
Team-first mindset and clear communication.
Eagerness to learn laminating, sheeting, and slitting equipment.
Willingness to work overtime as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice to Have Background in machine operation, production, manufacturing, or heavy equipment.
Familiarity with laminators, sheeters, slitters, printing, converting, or roll-fed gear.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to spot abnormal operation.
Experience with work orders, in-process quality checks, or manufacturing documentation.

Basic quality inspection methods
Production paperwork and reporting
Effective teamwork with assigned helpers
Work Setting & Physical Demands Active manufacturing environment with large moving equipment and typical industrial noise.
Extended standing and walking.
Frequent bending, reaching, and material handling.
Use of required PPE.Overtime based on production schedules and availability.
