Position Overview
Shift: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM. Full-time, onsite, Environmental Quality Analyst 1 position located in Fairfield, NJ. Compensation: $22.00 per hour.

Responsibilities- Oversee, review, complete, and process various quality forms, documents, databases, and related materials.
- Provide analysis, interpretation, and guidance to staff, management, and functional leaders regarding quality policies, programs, and practices, including support for operational improvements and change initiatives.
- Research and resolve management and employee questions related to quality requirements; assist with customer feedback investigations and coordinate appropriate responses.
- Analyze operational results, feedback, and quality data to identify trends, draw conclusions, and develop recommendations for management.
- Ensure accuracy of testing, equipment, procedures, operational databases, and reports through audits, reviews, and data verification activities; collaborate with teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in the development and execution of quality and cross-functional projects, including budgeting, timelines, resource planning, and project reporting.
- Interpret and apply departmental policies, procedures, and applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
- Contribute to departmental effectiveness by offering process improvement suggestions and actively participating on work teams.
- Promote and support the mission of Pace Analytical by demonstrating professional, courteous, and cooperative behavior with customers and colleagues and fostering a positive work environment.
- Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Operations, or a closely related field; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. - Required Knowledge:
Fundamentals of quality management principles, practices, and techniques; administration and oversight of quality programs, policies, and procedures; methods for identifying and resolving quality-related issues and questions; applicable quality regulations, standards, and compliance requirements; standard testing equipment, tools, and calibration processes; computer applications and systems related to quality management and reporting; principles and practices of effective project team participation; effective communication methods;
business English proficiency. - Required Skills:
Perform professional-level quality responsibilities across multiple functional areas; administer and support a variety of quality programs and processes; train employees on quality policies, procedures, and standards; participate in projects and project teams; work effectively both independently and within a team; interpret, apply, and explain laws and regulations; prepare reports, correspondence, and other business documents; exercise initiative and sound judgment; demonstrate tact, discretion, and professionalism;
deliver presentations; contribute to team goals; build and maintain relationships; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Mobility to work in a lab and office setting, use standard office and lab equipment, stamina to sit for extended periods; exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects; vision to read printed materials and computer screens; hearing and speech to communicate in person or over the telephone.
WorkingEnvironment
Work is performed in both laboratory and office settings. Laboratory work may involve exposure to chemicals, fumes, gases, noxious odors, and other laboratory-related materials and conditions.
