Security Systems Installer; CCTV, Alarm, Access Control

Full-Time 1 – 5 Years’ Experience. Security CCTV, Burglar & Fire Alarm Installation Technician - Fairfield, NJ.

Homeland Security & Life Safety Systems, LLC is growing rapidly and looking for experienced technicians to install in the Electronic Security industry, including Commercial Burglar Alarm, Fire Alarm, IP CCTV, Intercom, and Access Control systems. Candidates must be proficient at installing and using a digital multi-meter, network tester, IP camera addressing, hand tools and power tools, and running wires and network cabling.

• Security: DMP, Bosch, Honeywell
• IP CCTV:
  Hanwha, Axis, Verint, Exacq, Avigilon
• Access Control:
  Lenel, Software House, Brivo, Amag, WINPAK

• High School Diploma or Technical School Certification.
• Continuously learn new products, upgrades, and software programs related to low voltage systems.
• Install low voltage security systems in new and existing construction commercial, banking, and retail environments.
• Read and understand floor plans.
• Terminate and install security, CCTV, and access devices.
• Test and troubleshoot system issues.
• Pull fiber and Cat6 cabling.
• Maintain company vehicle inventory.

• Valid New Jersey driver’s license.
• Minimum of 1–5 years of field technician experience troubleshooting CCTV and alarm systems.
• Terminate RJ-45 Cat6/Cat5 modules.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to work at heights using scissor lifts, boom lifts, and ladders.
• Must be able to climb, crawl, and raise objects overhead.
