Warehouse Operations Lead

As a Warehouse Operations Lead, you will drive the efficiency of our distribution and logistics workflow by overseeing daily shipping, receiving, and inventory accuracy. You will serve as a hands-on leader, guiding a small team while ensuring that all material handling and documentation processes meet our high standards for operational excellence.

• Direct daily warehouse activities, including the prioritization of shipping and receiving tasks to meet production deadlines.
• Provide mentorship and leadership to a dedicated team, fostering a culture of safety and high performance.
• Manage the end-to-end logistics process, including carrier coordination and the preparation of accurate freight documentation such as bills of lading.
• Operate heavy equipment, including forklifts and clamp trucks, to ensure the safe movement and storage of raw materials and finished goods.
• Maintain rigorous inventory control through regular cycle counts and the prompt resolution of stock discrepancies.
• Optimize warehouse organization and workflow to enhance overall facility productivity and safety compliance.
• Provide active, hands-on support on the warehouse floor to ensure seamless operations during peak demand periods.

• Proven experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Demonstrated success in a supervisory or team-lead capacity.
• Proficiency in operating forklifts and clamp trucks in an industrial setting.
• Strong technical aptitude with inventory management software and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across departments.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 3+ years of experience within a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Current certification for powered industrial trucks.
• Advanced knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and cycle counting methodologies.
• Associate degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
