Position Summary Jeff Wyler Fairfield Auto Mall is seeking a motivated, dependable, and customer-focused Lube Technician to join our award-winning service team. This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in delivering quality work, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and providing exceptional service to every customer. As a Lube Technician, you will perform routine vehicle maintenance while identifying additional service needs and supporting our technicians in delivering an outstanding ownership experience.

Responsibilities Perform oil and filter changes according to manufacturer specifications.

Rotate and balance tires.

Inspect and top off all vehicle fluids.

Perform multi-point vehicle inspections and accurately document findings.

Check and replace air filters, cabin filters, windshield wipers, and light bulbs as needed.

Inspect brakes, tires, batteries, belts, hoses, and suspension components for wear.

Maintain accurate repair orders and inspection reports.

Recommend maintenance services based on inspection results.

Ensure vehicles are clean and protected while in the service department.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Follow all dealership, manufacturer, and OSHA safety standards.

Assist technicians and service advisors as needed.

Participate in ongoing training and career development opportunities.

Required Tools Technicians are expected to provide and maintain their own basic hand tools required to perform routine maintenance services. Specialty tools and dealership-provided equipment will be supplied by Jeff Wyler Fairfield Auto Mall.

INDSJTAQualifications

Previous automotive experience preferred but not required.

Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

Positive attitude with strong work ethic.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
