Procurement Manager/PPM Mission/Purpose
Act as the procurement SPOC for the plant, ensuring business continuity, productivity actions, and strong alignment with plant needs.
Drive supplier performance and governance across productivity and supplier management, while managing stakeholder relationships between GSC operations and LoB.
Key Responsibilities1) Plant Procurement Leadership & Execution
- Drive and govern the full implementation of the procurement strategy across the site.
- Serve as the primary procurement reference for the Plant Manager to support operational procurement issues.
- Support key strategic negotiations for plant-related suppliers and contribute to defining local specifications for category buyers.
2) Productivity & Transformation Management
- Drives end-to-end execution of the plant’s productivity roadmap, ensuring strong results across all levers.
- Coordinate cross functional teams to support implementation of procurement transformation levers.
3) Supplier Leadership & Performance
- Manage operational supplier issues and ensure continuity of supply.
- Ensure supplier performance (S‑OTD, S‑DPM).
4) Operational Continuity & Risk Management
- Support resolution of urgent operational issues and maintain business continuity.
- Ensure plant’s PES and KICs compliance and support internal and external audits.
- Plant productivity delivery (NEGO, COS, QVE, SBO, SOC influence).
- Supplier performance across all metrics (S‑OTD, S‑DPM).
- Business continuity and shortage resolution effectiveness (BOV - Back Order Value).
- Execution of procurement transformation levers at plant level.
- Compliance (cross-audits) with procurement processes.
- Ability to navigate complex environments and build strong internal networks.
- Influencing, convincing, and driving positive change management.
- Capability to manage multiple priorities and operational topics.
- End-to-end accountability and leadership across procurement governance.
- Ability to adapt communication to and influence diverse stakeholders (written and verbal).
- Strong procurement skills: negotiation, supplier relationships, supplier base development, quality, lead time management.

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field is required.
- Minimum of 7 years of direct experience in procurement/ sourcing (direct material) with minimum 2-3 years in a managerial position.
- Extensive experience in negotiations and category strategies is required.
- Influential skills and good communication skills are required.
- Business Understanding.
- Highly Proficient in MS Office.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and writing skills.
