Educational Assistant (part-time) – East Elementary ()
General DescriptionOne position available – four (4) hours per day. Under the direction of the Principal or designee, this employee may perform reading/math intervention and will assist in the supervision, care, and instruction of students in grades K‑5 by monitoring student behavior, performing classroom tasks, and providing information to appropriate school personnel.
Pay & BenefitsBeginning hourly rate: $17.37 per hour and up, commensurate with related experience for regular employment. Excellent benefits package including free life insurance, SERS retirement system, medical, dental, disability and vision insurance, and sick and personal days.
Minimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.
Maintain an Educational Aide Permit from the Ohio Department of Education & Workforce (ODEW) and meet one of the following criteria:
- Hold an Associate's degree or higher.
- Have completed forty‑eight semester hours of college coursework.
- Pass a Paraprofessional exam.
