Educational Support Assistant (part-time) – West Elementary

Under the direction of the Principal or designee, this employee may perform reading/math intervention, and will assist in the supervision, care and instruction of students in grades K-5 by monitoring student behavior, performing classroom tasks, and providing information to appropriate school personnel.

Beginning hourly rate: $17.37/hour and up, commensurate with related experience for regular employment.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Apply for and maintain an Educational Aide Permit from the Ohio Department of Education & Workforce (ODEW) and meet one of the following criteria: (1) hold an Associate's degree or higher, (2) have taken forty-eight semester hours of college coursework, or (3) take a Paraprofessional exam.
