Educational Assistant (Full-Time)

General Description:
Under the direction of the special education teacher or designee, this person assists in the supervision, care and instruction of students in grades 6-8 on an Individual Education Program (IEP). Accompanies students with disabilities into general education settings and/or resource room settings and assists with tasks. Positions available - 6.5 hours per day.
Pay & Benefits:
Beginning hourly rate: $16.99/hour and up, commensurate with related experience. Excellent benefits package including medical, dental, disability and vision insurance, and SERS retirement, free life insurance, and sick and personal days.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Apply for and maintain a valid Educational Aide Permit from the Ohio Department of Education (ODE). The HR office can assist you with the short application process.
