Arts & Education Instructor

Job Title

The City of Fairfield Parks and Recreation Department is looking for talented instructors / teachers to lead Arts / Educational classes at the Community Arts Center to both adults and children.

Classes will run dependent on enrollment and are typically offered in 3-8 week sessions.

• Create, plan and deliver engaging and appropriate lesson plans under the direction of the Arts & Education Programmer.
• Creating supply lists and manage inventory.
• Set-up and clean-up of classroom / teaching space.
• Assist with program recruitment.

Teaching experience is requested. Knowledge and experience in the class subject. Must possess effective oral and written communications skills.

The majority of part-time employees of the City of Fairfield participate in the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System (OPERS). We also provide an Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) and usage of department work-out facilities.
