Operations Manager
Overview
The Project Coordinator is responsible for managing and supporting all aspects of service operations, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery of field services to customers. This role coordinates schedules, resources, work orders, documentation, and communication between clients, technicians, and internal teams. The Project Coordinator plays a critical part in maintaining customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and compliance with company standards.

- Plan, organize, and schedule field service jobs, field technicians, and equipment.
- Open new projects in ERP and update schedules accordingly
- Monitor daily service activities, adjusting schedules to accommodate delays or changes.
- Create, update, and close Projects in the ERP (Microsoft Business Central)
- Maintain accurate records of service reports, technician hours, materials, and follow-up actions.
- Ensure documentation complies with internal procedures, safety requirements, and industry standards.
- Coordinate shipment of equipment/materials to projects as required.
- Schedule rental equipment and or third party crane suppliers as required.
- Create Purchase Orders and deliver to vendors. Confirm receipt of service, update POs, and close PO’s prior to project completion.
- Support the Field Service Controller with planning, reporting, and KPI tracking.
- Identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the field service process and recommend improvements.
- Experience in service coordination, dispatcher roles, customer service, or technical operations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with service management systems (CMMS, ERP, CRM) and MS Office tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond quickly to changing priorities.
- Background in engineering, mechanical systems, industrial equipment, or related technical fields.
- Experience coordinating technicians, field service teams, or service jobs.
- Knowledge of safety procedures, work-at-height, or mechanical systems (especially valuable in wind or heavy industry).
- Certifications in service management, logistics, or project coordination are a plus.
