Process Engineer

• Analyze existing manufacturing processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and increased efficiency.
• Develop and implement process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process efficiency and effectiveness.
• Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve process inefficiencies and quality issues.

• Collaborate with product design and R&D teams to ensure products are designed for efficient manufacturability.
• Design, configure, and optimize production processes from inception through startup and certification.
• Recommend design modifications to improve production efficiency and reduce ergonomic risks.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies and tools that enhance process capabilities and reduce operational costs.

• Review and update manufacturing routers to ensure accurate documentation of process steps, cycle times, and resource allocation.
• Identify and recommend changes to router instructions to streamline workflows and eliminate non-value‑added activities.
• Ensure that routers reflect current best practices and compliance with operational and quality standards.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and planning teams to validate router accuracy and efficiency.

• Use data‑driven decision‑making to track, analyze, and report on process performance metrics.
• Develop dashboards and reports to provide insights into production performance and improvement opportunities.
• Leverage statistical tools to predict and prevent process bottlenecks.

• Ensure that processes adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols.
• Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation to ensure compliance and repeatability.
• Conduct audits to identify opportunities for improvement, maintain process integrity and ensure adherence to best practices.

• Act as a technical expert in diagnosing and resolving process‑related issues in production.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to address technical challenges promptly.
• Lead incident investigations to determine root causes and implement preventive solutions.

• Manage process improvement projects from initiation to completion, including budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline tracking.
• Engage stakeholders across departments to ensure alignment and support for project initiatives.
• Monitor the impact of implemented changes and ensure sustainability of improvements through productivity tracking.

• Train production teams on new processes, tools, and best practices.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement among team members.
• Create documentation and knowledge‑sharing resources to institutionalize process improvements.

• Incorporate energy‑saving, waste reduction, and sustainability practices into process improvements.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in process engineering.
• Promote creative solutions that enhance the organization’s competitive advantage through people, process, and technology.
• Occasional travel to vendors or other manufacturing locations may be required.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, manufacturing engineering, or related field; experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
