Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Intern
Schneider Electric has an exciting opportunity for an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Intern at our Fairfield, Ohio location for the Fall 2026 semester. This is a part-time, onsite position that requires the ideal candidate to be located in the general area. No visa sponsorship or relocation will be provided for this role. As an Environmental, Health & Safety Engineer Intern, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Risk assessment and job hazard analysis
- Development of site-specific safety trainings
- Digitization of EHS documents
- Projects around top 5 hazards
- Lead 5s safety initiatives
- Ergonomic assessments
- Behavior-Based safety
- Environmental sustainability champion
- Site green team champion
- Other projects as needed / working alongside seasoned professionals

This position may be a good fit for you if:
- Working towards Science, Engineering or Safety & Environmental degree
- Junior or Senior standing
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Have experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Have experience with data analytics
- Ability to read, speak, and comprehend English to effectively perform job responsibilities and follow safety instructions.
