Actuarial Analyst

Location:

Fairfield, Ohio. Pay range: $65,000 - $80,000 annually.

• Prepare financial forecasts for each of the major property and casualty products written by Cincinnati Insurance
• Estimate the distribution and variability of financial forecasts
• Perform risk analyses of property and casualty loss reserves
• Provide analytical support for strategic planning
• Develop pricing for assigned states and product lines
• Provide filing support for rate changes
• Work with models to assess competitive advantages with major competitors
• Price and model reinsurance transactions in support of our assumed reinsurance operations

• Communicate effectively both in speech and writing
• Solve problems systematically and creatively
• Work both independently and as part of a team
• Use computers confidently;
  Microsoft Excel and SAS experience preferred

• Bachelor's degree or higher in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, physics, economics or a similar technical field of study; business coursework is a plus
• Pass at least one actuarial exam and is pursuing an actuarial designation. Cincinnati offers a competitive study program to support associates in attaining professional designations
