Iron Road is conducting a confidential search for our Fairfield, Ohio client. We are seeking an organized, detailed oriented Recruiter with a great vibe to manage the full recruitment cycle and assist with finance functions. In this role, you will work closely with hiring managers to ensure staffing and financial needs are met efficiently. We are looking for someone that has preferably worked in the manufacturing/machining industry.
This is a direct hire, full-time position. Compensation 60K - 70K based on your experience.
Reports to:
CEO
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for exempt and non-exempt positions, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and job offers
- Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements and develop effective sourcing strategies
- Coordinate interview scheduling and communication with candidates and internal stakeholders
- Maintain accurate records within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Build a pipeline of qualified candidates through networking, referrals, and sourcing strategies
- Represent the company at job fairs and recruitment events.
- Support new hire onboarding by coordinating orientation and pre-employment documentation
- Collaborate with HR and leadership on employee retention strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and company policies.
- Track and report on recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill and candidate experience
- Other duties as assigned
- Accounts Receivable (AR):
Invoice customers, post payments, manage collections, resolve billing issues, and keep accurate account records - Accounts Payable (AP):
Process vendor invoices, match PO/receipts, pay vendors on time, reconcile statements, and organize documents - Job Costing:
Track job costs, verify codes, analyze variances, and report job profitability
- Assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures

- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple open roles and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with ATS platforms and HR software
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
