Overview
Location: Onsite in Fairfield, OH (1 remote day/week after training)
Duration: 6-month contract
Pay Rate: $24/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Our client is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support for corporate users. This role is ideal for someone with strong Windows and endpoint support experience who is looking to grow within an enterprise IT environment.
Responsibilities- Build, configure, and deploy Windows workstations
- Install and support hardware, operating systems, and office applications
- Troubleshoot software, hardware, and user-reported issues
- Support Office 365, One Drive, and endpoint security tools
- Track, update, and escalate support tickets as needed
- Perform quality assurance testing and provide status updates
- A+ and MCP certifications
- 4+ years of experience in desktop, deskside, or hardware support
- Advanced Windows 11 support experience
- Experience with endpoint security tools (e.g., Zscaler, Beyond Trust, Crowd Strike)
- Strong knowledge of Office 365, Intune, SCCM, Azure, and Active Directory
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- VMware / VDI experience
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
