CBTS is searching for a Data Engineering Analyst. The Data Engineer Analyst supports enterprise data delivery by enabling high‑quality, reliable, and scalable data pipelines, analytics capabilities, and operational reporting. The role partners closely with data engineering, architecture, and business teams to design, implement, and optimize data solutions that power core business operations, insights, and automation. This role will be involved in CBTS’ new ERP rollout, data migration, data strategy and Merger and Acquisition (M&A) activities.

• Serve as a liaison between Data Engineering and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver robust data solutions.
• Support architecture, design, and development of data engineering frameworks and analytics ecosystems.
• Utilize AI and machine learning tools to automate data processes, enhance analytics, and drive actionable insights.
• Build and maintain data pipelines (AWS Glue, Redshift, EMR, Kinesis, etc.).
• Profile, analyze, and map data from multiple systems into unified data models.
• Develop standard reporting and self‑service data assets.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, governance, and metadata integrity.
• Contribute to data modeling, schema design, and API/interface specifications.
• Support process improvements and optimization of data flows.
• Monitor workloads and pipelines for reliability and performance.
• Participate in analysis, documentation, QA testing, and deployment.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, timelines, risks, and change adoption.
• Work effectively across multiple teams and complex environments.

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Data Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in data engineering or technical data roles.
• Experience with AWS and or Azure
• Strong background in data modeling and ETL/ELT.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts.
• Advanced SQL

• Python, Spark, or similar data processing tools.
• Understanding of data ingestion, integration, and API design

• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, Dev Ops workflows

• Strong communication across technical and nontechnical teams.
• Ability to translate business questions into data engineering solutions.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple work streams.
• Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking.
• Ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
