Desktop Support Technician

Our client requires a hybrid support professional who will handle incident work, fulfill service requests, and provide hands-on technical support. The role includes configuring new equipment for break/fix devices and completing software setups. The position is hybrid with an expectation of approximately 80% of the work week in the office.

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Rate: $20.00 to $25.00/hr. w2

- Responsibilities:

• Work incident tickets to resolution with clear documentation.
• Fulfill service requests according to defined procedures and SLAs.
• Provide hands-on end-user support for hardware and software.
• Configure and deploy new equipment for break/fix and replacements.
• Perform software installations and basic setup tasks.
• Collaborate with service team representatives to ensure quality support.

Experience Requirements:

• Experience supporting end users in a hybrid on-site environment.
• Proficiency with hardware configuration and imaging.
• Ability to install and configure common enterprise software.
• Experience managing incidents and service requests through a ticketing system.
• Clear communication and customer service skills.
