Insurance Agent & Advisor, Insurance Sales
Job Description
Lighthouse Insurance Agency is looking for an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to manage a book of personal auto, home, and umbrella accounts in our Fairfield, OH office. This role is for someone who already knows the rhythm of personal lines servicing — renewals, endorsements, claims support, carrier relationships — and is ready to run with an established book from day one with minimal ramp-up.
You’ll be the client's trusted point of contact and the reason they stay with Lighthouse year after year. We’re looking for someone who brings both relationship warmth and operational discipline — the kind of person who catches a coverage gap before the client ever notices it. As part of applying, you’ll complete a short assessment that helps us confirm the fit is right on both sides before we move forward.

Guide clients through claims intake and the first steps after a loss
Actively identify and act on cross-sell and account-rounding opportunities (auto, home, umbrella, life)
Maintain accurate, up-to-date client records in our agency management system
Communicate promptly and professionally across phone, email, and text — most clients expect a same-day response
Partner directly with producers and underwriters across our carrier partners to resolve issues quickly
Mentor newer team members as the agency grows
Maintain full compliance with agency documentation standards on every account touch
RequirementsActive Ohio Property & Casualty insurance license required
1+ year of personal lines account management or CSR experience required
Working knowledge of personal lines carriers, coverage forms, and rating factors
Strong attention to detail — this role involves policy documents and coverage nuances where accuracy matters
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a genuine, client-first tone
Proven ability to manage a high volume of client interactions while staying organized under pressure
Experience with agency management systems (AMS
360, EPIC, Momentum/Now Certs, or similar) preferred
A team-oriented mindset with the confidence to work independently
