Position: Floor Support Associate (Towelettes) 6:30am-3pm

Hilco Vision has a state-of-the-art facility in Fairfield, Ohio! We are currently searching for a Floor Support Associate (Towelettes) to join the team! The Floor Support Associate (Towelettes) is responsible for working in the Towelettes department with the Towelette Supervisor and team to ensure that production goals are met. Areas of focus for the Floor Support Associate (Towelettes) include Quality Control, Material Handling, Safety, Support, etc.

The hours for this role are 6:30am-3:00pm.

Qualifications:

  • Adhere to all organizational safety practices including following appropriate procedures, as well as the proper wearing of required PPE in designated areas
  • Committed to leading by example with regards to attendance, work quality, and exhibiting a positive attitude
  • Committed to quality, excellent attention to detail and processes in order to reach a common goal of producing a great product for all customers
  • Able to work independently and within a team environment; understanding that the customer need is of the utmost importance
  • Able to understand work orders that are processed, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

  • Build and label master cartons for assembled kits
  • Assist with packing components into correct kit configurations with accuracy
  • Assist with line changeovers and retrieve necessary components
  • Remove trash and maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Support operators during breaks to keep assembly lines running
  • Perform general housekeeping duties around the assembly floor
  • Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors
  • Follow safety procedures and quality control guidelines.

Who You Are:

  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and ready to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable with physical tasks including lifting, sorting, and standing for extended periods
  • Able to follow instructions and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Team-focused with a strong work ethic
  • Prior experience in assembly or manufacturing is a plus, but not required

Physical Requirements

  • This role requires the ability to lift up to 20 pounds
  • This role requires the ability to sit for long periods of time and complete repetitive task
  • This role requires hand dexterity

Incentive Plan:

  • Attendance- Employee must have worked 85% (148 hours) of the working days in a given month for the home department earning the incentive.
  • Productivity
    - Must have efficiency more than 85% minimum for the month.
  • Violations
    - If an employee receives a write up due to a policy violation or quality issue, they will not be eligible for the incentive for that month.
  • Employment- Must be a full time Hilco employee for more than 30 days. The employee must be actively employed on the date of the incentive payout to receive it.
