CNC Machinist

1st shift CNC Machinist - $24-$26/hr

A company located in Fairfield, OH is looking for experienced CNC Machinists to join their team!

Position Details:
Multiple candidates are needed for a CNC Machinist position. This is a 1st shift position with the hours of 7am-3:30pm with a pay of $24-$28/hr based on experience.

You can also receive People First Staffing bonus of $50 for a referral bonus when you refer a friend after they complete 80 hours!

Job Overview:
Candidates will be responsible for operating various CNC lathe and mill machines from detailed drawings to produce parts. The ideal candidate must have the knowledge to creatively solve machining problems and perform maintenance techniques.

Job Duties:

• Experience operating manual CNC lathe and mills
• Able to interpret blueprints and schematics
• Experience with MIG welding various metals is a plus
• Must be able to measure and inspect parts using tape measure and micometers
• Basic math skills and able to follow written and verbal instructions
• Able to lift up to 50lbs
• Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures
• Works well as a team and independently

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of experience operating manual CNC lathes and mills
• Able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and schematics
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment
