Position: Material Handler(Manufacturing) -- 6:30am-3pm

Material Handler (Manufacturing) – 6:30am-3pm

Full‑time, on‑site position in manufacturer operations & logistics responsible for material handling, put‑aways, and replenishment of production lines. Works daily from 6:30 am to 3 pm with weekly pay.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and deliver raw materials via forklift, pallet jack, or cart for efficient line operations; perform line clearance and set‑up for changeovers.
  • Replenish production lines with raw materials and track inventory using the company control system.
  • Perform quality assurance on finished goods, wrap pallets properly with automated pallet wrap, receive them into inventory, and move them to proper locations.
  • Label boxes accurately and neatly according to customer specifications.
  • Track progress of job runs to avoid over‑runs and ensure new jobs are prepared for efficient changeovers.
  • Organize raw material inventory according to job specifications and quantity.
  • Account for, and return unused raw materials to inventory.
  • Perform all tasks required of a Packaging Operator when directed by a supervisor.
  • Perform all other tasks directed by a supervisor.
Qualifications
  • Team player with a mission‑first mentality who performs tasks wherever needed.
  • Adheres to all safety practices, follows procedures, and wears required PPE.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with quality assurance and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Can work independently and within a team to meet customer needs.
  • Understands basic operations within a production facility.
  • Able to track inventory, perform basic math calculations, and report data to supervisor.
  • Comfortable with using a ladder; no fear of heights.
  • Capable of lifting up to 40 lb.
  • Certified forklift operator or confident of learning quickly.
Physical Requirements
  • Lift up to 40 lb and stand for long periods.
  • Weekly pay.

Incentive Plan
  • Attendance: must have worked 85% (148 hours) of working days in a given month to earn incentive.
  • Productivity: must maintain at least 85% efficiency for the month.
  • Violations: a written policy or quality violation excludes the employee from that month’s incentive.
  • Employment: must be a full‑time Hilco employee for more than 30 days, actively employed on the payout date.
