We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Manufacturing Planner Scheduler to oversee production scheduling and materials planning to ensure efficient and timely manufacturing operations.
The Manufacturing Planner Scheduler will work closely with procurement, production, engineering, and inventory teams to develop and maintain production schedules, manage material requirements, and support on-time delivery of finished goods.
What You'll Do- Develop, maintain, and adjust master production schedules based on customer demand, sales forecasts, and inventory targets.
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
- Monitor work orders and production progress to identify potential bottlenecks or delays.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve scheduling conflicts or supply issues.
- Analyze inventory levels and recommend adjustments to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase planning accuracy and manufacturing efficiency.
- Communicate schedule updates, changes, and priorities to stakeholders across departments.
- Prepare and present regular planning and performance reports to management.
- U.S. Person status required (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident) due to federal regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of planning/production scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with Oracle ERP
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- APICS CPIM certification or similar is a plus.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles.
- Advanced Excel or data analysis skills.
