Welder - 1st

Location: Fairfield, OH.
Employment Type: 1st Shift, Full-time, direct hire.

Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Welder for our client. This position is responsible for performing MIG welding on metal components in accordance with specifications and executing TIG welding tasks when required. The role includes reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and detailed drawings, as well as inspecting welded joints and structures to ensure quality standards are met.

• Perform MIG welding on various metal components according to specifications.
• Execute TIG welding tasks as needed for specific projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed drawings.
• Inspect welded joints and structures to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on time.

• Proven experience as a welder, with a focus on MIG welding.
• Proficiency in TIG welding is a plus.
• We would like at least 2 years’ experience.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Knowledge of safety standards and practices in welding.
• Comfortable working in various positions, including standing, bending, and kneeling.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Ability to work in fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs.
• Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.
• Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.
• Communication skills.
