Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our team. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend and shape metal components according to specifications. Your precision and expertise will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and efficient production of high-quality metal parts. The ideal candidate will have experience in press brake operations, a strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Set up and prepare press brake machines for production runs, including tooling setup and selection.
• Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine bending requirements.
• Load metal sheets or components into the press brake machine and position them accurately for bending.
• Operate the press brake machine to bend metal components according to specified angles and dimensions.
• Perform quality checks to verify that bending tolerances and dimensions meet required specifications.
• Make necessary adjustments to the press brake machine to ensure accurate and precise bending.
• Inspect finished parts for defects and perform any required rework.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Maintain press brake machines and perform regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of press brake machine setup and operation.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
• Physical ability to lift and handle metal sheets and components.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing production demands.
• Additional technical certifications or training in press brake operations is a plus.
