Manufacturing Floor Trainer - 2nd shift

Join our production team as a Manufacturing Floor Trainer and play a key role in delivering quality products. This hands‑on position offers the chance to work in a collaborative environment where your attention to detail and commitment to excellence make a real difference.

• Assist in the development of new temporary workers, retraining current employees, cross training, etc.
• Work with multiple individuals at different skill levels.
• Show strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.
• Troubleshoot production issues.
• Provide objective student evaluations during the training period.
• Encourage participants to learn from themselves and the class.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Assemble components and products following detailed specifications and standardized processes.
• Inspect finished products to verify quality and ensure adherence to standards.
• Work closely with team members to achieve production goals and maintain efficient workflows.
• Keep work area clean and organized while reporting equipment issues promptly.

• Customer orientation – intermediate level; ensuring product quality meets internal and external customer expectations.
• Drives for Results – intermediate level; meeting production targets while maintaining quality standards.
• Digital literacy – developing level; using digital tools and systems to track production data.
• Operational health and safety management – developing level; following safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
• Problem solving – developing level; identifying and escalating production issues quickly.
• Quality control & inspection – developing level; inspecting products to ensure they meet specifications.
• Automation integration – foundational level; working alongside automated systems in the production process.
• Lean methodology – foundational level; supporting continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor.

• Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing high‑quality work.
• Candidate must possess applicable wiring experience.
• Must have all applicable knowledge and competencies for skilled, experienced wiring.
• Must have no more than 3 points with no written policy infractions.
• Must be a full‑time employee of Schneider Electric for at least 6 months.
• Must maintain a “Good/Superior” quality with no more than 3 defects per quarter.
• Must be willing to bring personal tool cart to interview and explain 5S.
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.

• Eager to learn and adapt to new processes and techniques.
• Must be able to speak, read, and understand English fluently.
