Production Manager

Position Summary:

This role oversees daily operations and leads a large team. The ideal candidate is an experienced production leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, knows how to develop people, and can drive performance through accountability and process improvement. Embroidery experience is a plus—but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 25–30 employees, including a supervisor and two team leads
• Create and maintain a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
• Ensure production goals, quality standards, and on-time delivery metrics are consistently achieved
• Manage workflow, staffing, and scheduling to maximize efficiency and throughput
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste
• Address performance concerns, set clear expectations, provide coaching, and take corrective action when needed
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and operational compliance
• Partner cross-functionally with planning, quality, and maintenance teams
• Track and analyze KPIs to drive data-informed decisions
• Support onboarding and training to build a strong, sustainable workforce

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• 2+ years of leadership experience managing teams (including supervisors or leads preferred)
• Proven ability to motivate teams and drive results in a high-volume setting
• Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset
• Experience managing production schedules, workflow, and performance metrics
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to hold teams accountable while maintaining engagement and morale
• Embroidery or textile experience is a plus, but not required
• Hands-on leader who is comfortable on the production floor
• Organized, decisive, and results-driven
• Experience managing multiple work streams simultaneously
• Strong focus on efficiency, quality, and team development

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced production facility
• Frequent time spent on the production floor, standing and engaging with team members.
