- Provide technical support for daily manufacturing operations and live production activities
- Partner with supervisors, operators, and maintenance personnel to ensure equipment and production processes operate efficiently and reliably
- Support tooling selection and validation activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve production challenges to improve operational performance
- Develop, document, and execute process improvement and process development projects
- Identify opportunities to increase production efficiency, reduce cost variances, improve product margins, and enhance quote competitiveness
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations
- Support product engineering, product development, product management, and quality control teams in developing and launching new products
- Maintain alignment with company quality standards while supporting customer requirements
- Use data-driven problem-solving methodologies and CAD tools to analyze processes and implement improvements
- Assist with peer training and mentorship activities
- Contribute to team capabilities and operational expertise
- Support Environmental Health and Safety initiatives
- Help maintain a safe and compliant work environment
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience coordinating and managing projects
- Proficiency with CAD software and engineering design tools
- Experience with manufacturing systems and process improvement methodologies
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques, including process mapping, root cause analysis, 8D, A3, 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, Design of Experiments (DOE), and capability studies
- Experience working with quality management systems such as ISO and IATF, including control plans and PFMEAs
- Manufacturing experience in a production environment
Demonstrates expertise in process improvement methodologies and CAD software to enhance manufacturing operations and product development. Capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, quality, and safety in production environments.
