The Assembly Operator will assemble components for ground management machinery with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency following customer specifications. The assembly operation requires an aptitude and understanding of basic mechanical skills. Successful candidates for this position will be provided extensive training, under the guidance of experienced operators, in the areas of hydraulics, wiring, engine, and technical assembly methods. Successful candidates will be required to provide their own hand tool equipment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assemble mechanical components with a high level of precision and attention to detail.
  • Follow instructional documents and specifications high with a high level of accuracy.
  • Learn and apply proper installation methods for hydraulic systems, wiring, engine, and assembly methods.
  • Assist in quality inspection and testing.
  • Assist Experienced Operators As Required.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Requirements
  • Perform other duties as required.
Education, Skills, and Experience
  • Excellent attendance
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience and a strong aptitude for mechanical systems
  • Basic mathematical skills, and the ability to calculate precise measurements
  • Strong attention to details, quality, and accuracy
  • Team Player Who Works To Assist And Support Others
  • Takes personal accountability for job duties and results.
Desired
  • Vocational mechanical training
  • Previous work experience in manufacturing. (Lean manufacturing, Tier 2 or Tier 3 experience a plus).
  • Previous work experience in hydraulics, wiring, engines, or assembly methods.
