Shift: Friday & Saturday, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Position Overview:

Pride Staff is currently hiring a dedicated Jr. Operator to support production operations during our weekend overnight shift. In this role, you will be a vital member of the production team, responsible for the physical movement of raw materials and finished products, as well as providing essential support to the Machine Operator. We are looking for an independent, safety-conscious worker capable of managing plant tasks effectively under the direction of the Plant Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Support:
  Operate and monitor bundler equipment, ensuring production rates are maintained.
• Material Handling:
  Manually place bales on skids and utilize equipment as required. Label all bales accurately and practice proper lifting techniques.

  Partner with the Machine Operator to assist with preventive maintenance, machine cleaning, and troubleshooting.
• Quality Control:
  Proactively detect defects in raw materials or finished products and escalate issues to the Machine Operator or Supervisor immediately.
• Safety & Compliance:
  Maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace and strictly adhere to all safety, hygiene, and facility policies.
• General Duties:
  Assist with miscellaneous plant tasks as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
• Must be able to perform manual labor, including transferring heavy loads.
• Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs (dead weight) consistently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 12 months of previous manufacturing experience.
• Ability to detect potential quality issues with materials or product.
• Knowledge of basic safety rules and precautionary measures (safety gear will be provided).

Physical Requirements &

Working Conditions:

• Ability to work in varying conditions, including heat and cold.
• Capability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, perform overhead lifting, and engage in common physical movements required for the role.
• Flexibility to work beyond normal hours, including holidays, when necessary.
