We're hiring a Team Lead-Manufacturing Production (2nd shift) at Schneider Electric-Fairfield 1, to supervise manual cell operations and drive daily performance in safety, quality, and output. What will you do?- Lead daily manual cell operations to achieve safety, quality, and production goals
- Coordinate staffing, work instructions, and material flow while coaching operators on best practices and ergonomics
- Monitor performance, verify quality inspections, and resolve issues swiftly with appropriate escalation
- Manage shift handovers, ensure training compliance, and champion continuous improvement efforts
- Read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, or technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly.
- Assemble parts or units, and position, align, and fasten units to assemblies, sub-assemblies, or frames, using hand tools and power tools.
- Connect cables, tubes, and wiring, according to specifications. Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to ensure that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements.
- Inspect, built & wired pans.
- Answer questions and contact engineers as needed.
- Inspect wiring quality and electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, etc.
- Repair or replace wiring and equipment using hand tools and power tools.
- Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment.
- Drive 5S consistency for area of responsibility.
- Work with materials team to ensure parts availability for future production orders.
- Will perform other duties as required.

- Quality Control & Inspection - intermediate level; verifying standards and ensuring compliance throughout production

- Drives for Results - intermediate level; maintaining focus on safety, quality, and delivery targets under pressure
- Lean Methodology - developing level; applying continuous improvement principles to reduce waste and enhance efficiency
- Operational Health and Safety Management - developing level; enforcing protocols and fostering a safe work environment
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to coach and develop operators in real time
- Clear communication skills that connect frontline teams with broader organizational goals
- Proactive approach to identifying and preventing issues before they impact production
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic manufacturing setting
