Team Lead – Manufacturing Production; 2nd shift

We're hiring a Team Lead-Manufacturing Production (2nd shift) at Schneider Electric-Fairfield 1, to supervise manual cell operations and drive daily performance in safety, quality, and output. • Lead daily manual cell operations to achieve safety, quality, and production goals
• Coordinate staffing, work instructions, and material flow while coaching operators on best practices and ergonomics
• Monitor performance, verify quality inspections, and resolve issues swiftly with appropriate escalation
• Manage shift handovers, ensure training compliance, and champion continuous improvement efforts
• Read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, or technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly.
• Assemble parts or units, and position, align, and fasten units to assemblies, sub-assemblies, or frames, using hand tools and power tools.
• Connect cables, tubes, and wiring, according to specifications. Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to ensure that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements.
• Inspect, built & wired pans.
• Answer questions and contact engineers as needed.
• Inspect wiring quality and electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, etc.
• Repair or replace wiring and equipment using hand tools and power tools.
• Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment.
• Drive 5S consistency for area of responsibility.
• Work with materials team to ensure parts availability for future production orders.
• Will perform other duties as required.

• Strong leadership presence with the ability to coach and develop operators in real time
• Clear communication skills that connect frontline teams with broader organizational goals
• Proactive approach to identifying and preventing issues before they impact production
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic manufacturing setting
