Position Location:

Fairfield, OH, USA, 45014

Work Model:
Onsite

Shift: Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM EST.

Employment Type:

Temporary

Min Hourly Rate: $40.00

Max Hourly Rate: $43.00

Must Have Skills/Attributes:
Audit, Compliance, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS)

Experience Desired: OSHA regulations and compliance (2+ yrs);
Experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Management systems (2+ yrs);
Fall Protection requirements and implementation experience (2+ yrs)

Required Minimum Education:

Bachelor's Degree

Required Certifications/Licenses: CSP certification

Job Description Required

Education:

Bachelor of Engineering degree is required.

Required Experience:

  • OSHA regulations and compliance requirements
  • Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) programs and machine safety
  • Fall Protection requirements and implementation
  • ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Management systems, Emergency Response Programs, emergency preparedness, and incident management

Position Overview:

Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Specialist to provide on-the-floor EHS support at our manufacturing facility

Job Duties:

  • Conducting routine floor audits and safety observations
  • Supporting employee engagement and safety initiatives
  • Assisting with incident investigations and corrective action follow-up
  • Monitoring compliance with applicable EHS policies and procedures
  • Providing guidance and coaching to operators, supervisors, and managers on EHS matters
  • Assisting with hazard identification and risk reduction activities
  • Supporting safety training and communication efforts as needed
  • Maintaining EHS documentation and assisting with compliance-related activities
  • Dock safety, including pedestrian and powered industrial vehicle interactions
  • Risk assessment and hazard identification methodologies
  • Incident investigation and corrective action processes
  • Employee safety engagement and behavior-based safety initiatives
