Wiring Technician – Fairfield, Ohio

As a Wiring Technician you will:

  • Install electrical wiring systems for switchgears, UPS, panel boards, lighting, switches, outlets, and transformers
  • Install conduits, electrical wires, and cables
  • Ensure conduit installation complies with electrical codes
  • Install ladder cable trays and basket cable trays
  • Install circuit breakers and other electrical hardware, and connect wiring to them
  • Install power feeders to equipment
  • Install branch circuits
  • Inspect electrical systems to ensure proper installation is up to code
  • Install low voltage/control wiring
  • Terminate power feeders (compression lugs), branch circuits, and control wiring
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Full Time – Temporary Contractor to Permanent Employee

The ideal Wiring Technician will have:

  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and wiring
  • Computer proficiency
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools
  • Proficiency in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to read and speak English
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders
  • Capability of pulling wires and cables through conduits and cable trays
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time

Pay Rate: $20 per hour
