DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Cemplex Group Concrete Finisher position is responsible for correctly installing concrete, and/or correctly waterproof balconies to assure we produce balconies that don't leak.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform work in a manner that is consistent with our ICOMPEL Values
• Install waterproofing in corridors and on balconies before pouring Concrete.
• Finish concrete that meets job and quality requirements
• Waterproof balconies in a manner that is consistent with quality standards
• Fall Safety standards must be observed whenever working near edges higher than 6'.
• Assure job site standards are maintained while work is being performed
• Perform work in accordance with foreman and project managers guidance
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Ability to perform basic math such as subtraction and addition
• Ability to receive guidance and training from experienced team members
• Ability to work effectively on teams
• Ability to manage equipment and tools with the appropriate care
• Ability to float and finish concrete with a broom texture.
• Ability to cut in perpendicular control joints to finished product.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Required:

• 1 year of experience finishing concrete

Preferred:

• Mechanical background
