Facility Manufacturing Technician

Location: Fairfield, OH

Pay: $22-$25/hr

We are seeking a hands-on Facility Manufacturing Technician
to support daily facility maintenance, equipment installations, welding, fabrication, and general repairs. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical skills, welding experience, and the ability to troubleshoot a variety of facility and equipment issues.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Welding certifications preferred.
• Previous experience with lathes, mills, grinders, and general fabrication equipment.
• Ability to perform MIG, TIG, and arc welding.
• Basic ability to read, write, and perform mathematical calculations.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and repair facility and equipment issues.
• Ability to lift up to 32 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and carrying materials.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize daily requests, and respond quickly to safety-related concerns.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to daily maintenance requests and safety calls while coordinating with vendors, contractors, and other departments as needed
• Perform general facility maintenance, including repairs to lighting, emergency lighting, plumbing, doors, HVAC, dock equipment, flooring, walls, and ceilings.
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery lighting, utilities, weld equipment, and other facility systems.
• Install and relocate new and existing equipment, including connecting air, water, lighting, and other required utilities.
• Support engineering and project teams with new equipment installations, jig modifications, brackets, and machine modifications.
• Fabricate tables, carts, racks, brackets, and other custom items as needed.
• Anchor machinery and install or modify machine guarding to support safe equipment operation.
