Job Type: Full-time Pay: $ per hour based on experience Maintenance Mechanic We are looking for a full-time Maintenance Mechanic position working for an established Chemical Formulator/Blender in Fairfield, OH. Monday-Friday 8-hr first shift, 6:30am-3:00pm. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5-8 years mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial setting. Experience in TIG welding is preferred. Additional industrial electrical experience (VFDs, PLCs, wiring and electrical diagnostics) is a plus.

The position will require you to:

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Check and repair electrical / mechanical equipment malfunctions.
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting and repair of pumps, mixers, valves, and plant utilities
• Perform routine operational checks on equipment to ensure efficient operation.
• Custom metal fabrication or welding repairs based on experience.
• Install equipment, with emphasis on electrical wiring and components.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and installations performed, including materials and parts used.
• Involves learning the use of our maintenance software program.
• Work well with a small maintenance team of 3-5 people.
• Report to and assist the Maintenance and Facilities Manager with whatever they may need.

Working well with others is critical.
