Warehouse Associate

Our client, a leading transportation and logistics organization, is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be an essential part of the operations team supporting freight movement and warehouse management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour

Shift: Tuesday to Saturday, 7:30am to 4:00pm

• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
• Match purchase orders to sales orders and distribute orders to sales associates for processing
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or shipped
• Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for employees and visitors
• Complete work safely, adhering to all safety policies and procedures

• Basic written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Availability to work various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
• Experience in dock or warehouse operations within the transportation industry is a plus
• Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 75 pounds and load/unload trucks efficiently
