Kelly is hiring! Join a leading distribution team in Fairfield as a Wire Room Associate. This role is ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable with physically demanding tasks.

• Cut wire and cable to specification using large machinery and equipment.
• Operate and maneuver warehouse machinery safely per manufacturer instructions.
• Perform physically demanding work both indoors and outdoors, including in the pipe department.
• Receive, store, select, pack, and ship inventory utilizing Warehouse Management System (WMS) processes.
• Load, measure, spool, and bundle wires and cables as required by customer orders.
• Accurately fill product orders according to type, length, and size.
• Receive incoming material, identify and break down products for storage, and note discrepancies.
• Store products properly, select, check, and pack UPS and non-UPS orders following designated WMS procedures.
• Prepare replenishment and cross-dock shipments, sort and pack LTL shipments per WMS guidelines.
• Conduct cycle counts, verify and consolidate inventory, and address stock discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse, follow all company safety procedures, and complete daily safety inspections.

• Previous warehouse or machine operation experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures—a MUST
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials and inventory on a regular basis
• Comfortable working in changing environments, including outdoors
