* Kelly is hiring! Join a leading distribution team in Fairfield as a Wire Room Associate. This role is ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable with physically demanding tasks.

* Job Responsibilities:

* + Cut wire and cable to specification using large machinery and equipment.

+ Operate and maneuver warehouse machinery safely per manufacturer instructions.

+ Perform physically demanding work both indoors and outdoors, including in the pipe department.

+ Receive, store, select, pack, and ship inventory utilizing Warehouse Management System (WMS) processes.

+ Load, measure, spool, and bundle wires and cables as required by customer orders.

+ Accurately fill product orders according to type, length, and size.

+ Receive incoming material, identify and break down products for storage, and note discrepancies.

+ Store products properly, select, check, and pack UPS and non-UPS orders following designated WMS procedures.

+ Prepare replenishment and cross-dock shipments, sort and pack LTL shipments per WMS guidelines.

+ Conduct cycle counts, verify and consolidate inventory, and address stock discrepancies.

+ Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse, follow all company safety procedures, and complete daily safety inspections.

* + Previous warehouse or machine operation experience preferred

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures

* + Ability to lift, move, and handle materials and inventory on a regular basis

+ Comfortable working in changing environments, including outdoors
