Shipping Specialist - (Full-Time, Days)
Location:
Fairfield, OH. Pay: $19/hour starting. Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site.
Schedule:
Sunday-Thursday (Day Shift Options).
We ship live insects for the pet industry. The Shipping Specialist is a team member who is responsible for preparing, packaging, and shipping live insect orders with a strong emphasis on accuracy, safety, and consistent execution. We are building a stable, long-term team and are looking for dependable individuals who want consistent work and can make an impact.
What You’ll Do- Pack and prepare live insect orders for shipment
- Ensure order accuracy before shipping
- Label and organize outgoing packages
- Safely load and unload shipments
- Maintain a clean, organized work area
- Follow safety and handling procedures at all times
- Operate basic equipment: tape guns, packaging tools, and materials safely and efficiently
- Work with a team to meet daily shipping goals
- Strong attendance and dependability
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures
- Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort working in a structured farm/warehouse setting
- Willingness to work as part of a team
- Interest in long-term, stable employment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Standing, bending, and repetitive movement throughout shift
- Comfortable working in hot, humid, dusty conditions
- Ability to safely handle live insects
Safety is a top priority in this role. You will be expected to:
Follow all safety procedures handle materials and equipment responsibly maintain a clean and organized workspace report issues immediately to leadership. We maintain a structured, safety-focused environment where consistency matters.
Sunday-Thursday. Day shift: 7:30 AM-4:00 PM (Hours will fluctuate based on production schedules, shipping schedules, and company needs)
