Job Description:The Payroll Manager oversees accurate, timely, and compliant payroll operations. This role manages payroll processing, timekeeping, taxes, benefits deductions, and regulatory compliance while partnering with HR, Finance, Legal, and external vendors. The Payroll Manager also leads payroll audits, system enhancements, and staff development.
Responsibilities- Manage regular, off-cycle, and bonus payrolls with strong controls and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Oversee timekeeping, PTO, and attendance data integrity.
- Support payroll tax filings, reconciliations, and year-end processes, including W?2s.
- Administer benefits, 401(k), garnishments, and other deductions.
- Maintain and enhance payroll systems; troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
- Partner cross-functionally to resolve payroll issues and support reporting needs.
- Lead, train, and mentor payroll staff; support audits and reconciliations.
