Demand Planning & Procurement Specialist
Location: Fairhaven, MA (Hybrid: Tuesday–Thursday in office)
Pay Rate: $31.25 per hour
Schedule: Tuesday – Thursday onsite; remaining days remote
Manpower is hiring for our client, Acushnet Company, a leader in the golf industry and home to iconic brands such as Titleist and Foot Joy is seeking a Demand Planning & Procurement Specialist to join its team in Fairhaven, MA. This role supports timely and cost-effective supply of materials through accurate demand planning and procurement activities. The ideal candidate will have advanced Excel skills, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments to align procurement strategies with demand plans.
CoreResponsibilities
- Assist in demand planning and procurement activities to ensure timely and cost-effective supply of materials
- Monitor inventory levels and identify risks
- Support purchase order tracking and follow-up
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, and Sales) to align procurement strategies with demand plans
- Advanced Excel proficiency (must-have):
- Complex formulas (VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, IF statements)
- Pivot Tables and Pivot Charts for dynamic reporting
- Data validation, conditional formatting, and scenario analysis
- Ability to automate repetitive tasks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills to present data-driven insights clearly to stakeholders
- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP or similar)
- Familiarity with supply chain planning tools and demand forecasting methodologies Education & Experience (Preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 3+ years of experience in demand planning, procurement, or supply chain management
- Proven track record of using Excel as a primary tool for analysis and reporting
- Experience in temporary or project-based assignments is a plus
- Ability to work independently with direction
- Strong collaboration skills to coordinate across departments and external suppliers
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- Commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement in planning processes
